VH-109 to VH-113 Conversion
If you are looking to have a VH-109 act as an access point for a single robot, you do not need to follow the instructions on this page. Instead, you should follow the instructions on this page.
Before You Continue: Converting a VH-109 to act as a VH-113 Access Point requires understanding of some advanced network concepts, such as managed switches and VLANs. You should only need to do this if you are planning on connecting multiple robots to the same access point.
Overview
This page explains how to make your VH-109 Robot Radio behave like a VH-113 Access Point. This will enable the VH-109 to act as an access point for multiple robots (ex: an informal scrimmage, or offseason competition).
Doing this does require the use of advanced networking techniques such as configuring managed switches and using VLANs.
DO NOT CONTINUE IF YOU ARE LOOKING TO HAVE ONE ROBOT CONNECT TO YOUR VH-109.
